In July 2019 the Richter’s shack burned down to the ground. Through the networking of Impact for Life, a brand-new double walled shack was rebuilt and donations for house hold items and furniture poured in to support Katariena, currently the matron of the Homeless Shelter in Windhoek, previously also homeless herself.
