Civil Consultancy Services for the design and Project management of the construction a 20ML concrete, potable water reservoir at Mile 7, Walvis Bay.

Lithon was appointed as Consulting Engineers for the Design & Construction Supervision of the 20Ml Water Reservoir at Mile 7, Walvis Bay. The project scope consisted of:

• Construction of 20Ml Concrete Reservoir to hold potable water and associated pipework and fittings.
• Stainless steel 316 Pipework Connection from the NamWater control room manifold
• New flow meter and valves at the NamWater manifold
• Connection to M&E controls in conjunction with NamWater officials
• New HDPE pipeline to new Reservoir
• New Concrete reservoir
  • Concrete footings, floor, bases, columns, roof and beam
  • Vent pipes
  • Pipework and fittings
  • Level indicator
• New pipework connections to overflow, inflow, outflow and scour
• New outflow connection for:
  • Future extensions
  • To existing 350 mm AC Pipeline
  • To existing 500 mm AC Pipeline
• All valves and fittings
• Overflow and scour pipeline and structure to daylight
