Consulting Services (Project Design and Supervision) for NGSIP

The Governments of Namibia and Germany agreed to implement the Namibian-German Special Initiative Programme (NGSIP) aimed at developing projects in areas and for communities that have historic ties with German colonial government and which the present German Government considered to be a special moral and historical responsibility.  The Namibian government identified beneficiaries from the Erongo, Hardap, Karas, Khomas, Kunene, Omaheke and Otjozondjupa regions.  The program was funded by the KFW and implemented by the Project Management Team (PMT).

Provision of Consulting Services for Project Supervision:
Lot 1:  Forty one (41) Education Projects throughout Namibia.
Lot 2: Twenty (20) Tourism Projects throughout Namibia

• Stage 1 comprised the definition of project design concepts for each of the projects
• Stage 2 comprised the development of final design and tender documentation for procurement of the necessary supply and works contractors.
• Stage 3 involved the process of tendering for supply and works contractors which will be done by the PMT. The Consultant assisted with the evaluation of tenders
• Stage 4 comprised the ongoing supervision of contactors in the performance of their duties.
