Lithon was appointed to provide services for the rehabilitation and widening of Auas Road transforming it to a two-lane, dual carriageway.

DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT

• Widening of existing Auas Road to two-lane dual carriageway capacity
• A portion from Hosea Kutako Drive up to Blackwood Street would need three lanes per direction as per the latest conducted Traffic Impact Assessments
• Rehabilitation of existing road surface
• Providing curb stones and paved sidewalks
• Upgrading of intersections
• Extension of two major in-situ culverts
